New Students

  1. My group and I intend to carry out revolutionary research, developing new methods that change the way we practice medicine (screening, diagnosis and treatment), the way we educate and study, the way we predict and act.
  2. I have a small, intense research group. This permits close working relationships between the students and me and among the students, including weekly one-on-one meetings with each student in addition to weekly group meetings and frequent meetings with visiting researchers.
  3. My students publish in the leading journals and conferences: typically 2 journal papers and additional conference papers per year during their PhD training.
  4. My former PhD students are academics on 4 continents: North America, Europe (including UK), Asia, Africa; others are in research labs: Google, etc.
