Peter Zimmerman

DPhil Student, Financial Economics

Peter Zimmerman began his DPhil in Financial Economics at Saïd Business School in 2014. He holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Economics from Trinity College Dublin. His research interests involve macroprudential policy, network theory and banking regulation, with a particular focus on strategic interaction between international authorities.

He is currently finalising his first paper ("Relationship lending when banks are fragile") for submission to journals.  He is also looking at the information contained in banks' share prices and how this may affect the coordination of depositor runs.
