Katrien Morbee

DPhil student in law and finance

Katrien Morbee is pursuing a DPhil in law and finance at the Oxford Law Faculty. Her research explores the relationship between corporate governance of financial institutions and the reduction of systemic risk.

Katrien holds an LLB and LLM from Ghent University, Belgium, and an LLM from Yale University, United States.

She is currently working on the governance of non-bank financial institutions compared to the governance of banks.  She is re-evaluating governance mechanisms from a systemic risk perspective.
