Johan Cassel

DPhil student in Financial Economics

Johan Cassel is a DPhil student in Financial Economics at the Saïd Business School. He holds a BSc in Mathematics as well as Business Administration and also a MSc in Financial Economics from Stockholm University. His research interest is private equity funds with a primary interest in the secondary market of fund stakes.


He is currently working on two projects in private equity.  One project studies the secondary market for private equity fund interests.  The second looks at whether asset owners may benefit from forfeiting control of timing their investments.
