Mike Giles Wins Best Simulation Publication Award

Mike Giles has won the 2011 INFORMS Best Simulation Publication Award for his paper Multilevel Monte Carlo Path Simulation.

This annual award recognises outstanding contributions to the simulation literature. INFORMS suggested this excellent paper constitutes a "significant breakthrough in Monte Carlo methods for stochastic differential equations, and is already having a large impact on simulation research in finance".
