Data Assimilation, 24th-28th September 2012

The Oxford-Man Institute, with support from the EPSRC, hosts the third workshop on Data Assimilation.

Speaker presentations can be viewed below as pdfs by the close of each day.

Extracting information from data is an increasingly important issue in many areas of policy, finance, science and engineering and there are novel methodologies emerging. One area of innovation relates to the development of new numerical methods for solving the filtering problem and for solving parabolic PDE’s.

This meeting has brought together many of the key innovators in this area. We expect the meeting to have a significant impact on the practical evolution of the discipline.

Five full days of lectures and discussion, Monday 24th September to 2pm Friday 28th September 2012 at St.Anne's College, University of Oxford.
